Frequently Asked Questions

Questions in this section cover how the method works and why it produces results when other approaches have not.

Most approaches work on one level, either the conscious or the subconscious, but not both.

What I do is different. I work with both the conscious and subconscious simultaneously, anchoring changes across both levels so they work in harmony. The approach is completely natural. It does not suppress your emotions or numb what you are feeling. Instead, it applies precision: identifying exactly what is driving your symptoms and addressing those specific areas directly. We also work from where you are now, not from the past. Forward-facing, built around you, with menopause specialism included so the whole woman is considered, not just the symptoms. This is why the women who work with me see a noticeable difference in weeks rather than months.

CBT works on your conscious thoughts and behaviour. It cannot reach the subconscious level where anxiety patterns actually run. You can understand the anxiety completely and still not be able to stop it firing.

What I do is different. I address both the conscious and subconscious simultaneously, anchoring the changes across both levels so they work in harmony. CBT coaches the conscious side. Hypnotherapy works the subconscious. A powerful bridging discipline connects the two, amplifying the impact of each. Because your conscious and subconscious are aligned and moving in the same direction, the transformation happens faster and it feels natural. That harmony is what makes it last.

Standalone hypnotherapy reaches the subconscious but does not always anchor back into your conscious thinking and daily behaviour. The shift can feel temporary.

What I do is different. I address both the conscious and subconscious simultaneously, anchoring the changes across both levels so they work in harmony. A powerful bridging discipline connects hypnotherapy on the subconscious side with CBT coaching on the conscious side, amplifying the impact of each. Because both levels are aligned, the transformation happens faster and it feels natural, not forced. That is what makes the changes permanent rather than temporary.

I hold an MSc in Corporate Governance and am certified in menopause management, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), clinical hypnotherapy, and transformational coaching. I bring the most effective elements from each discipline together into one integrated approach, shaped around what works best for you as an individual.

We are all unique. What works for one woman is not necessarily right or safe for another. We differ from our parents, our siblings, even other women going through menopause at the same time. Your menopause management should be tailored to you specifically, but that is not what the conventional approach delivers.

In this assessment, I review your current management approach end to end: your hormonal balance, supplementation, and lifestyle. I identify the gaps and build a personalised, fit-for-purpose plan around you and where you are right now.

This is available as a standalone service or as the foundation included in all my full programmes. It is where everything starts, because getting the foundations right is what makes everything else work.

The questions in this section will help you work out whether my services are the right fit for your situation.

I work with women who are struggling with the emotional impact of menopause. Anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, loss of confidence, driving anxiety, and emotional overwhelm are the areas I focus on most. If you have tried other approaches and not got the results you needed, that is exactly the kind of woman I work with.

No. I also work with post-menopausal women and women in midlife who are experiencing low mood, lack of motivation, anxiety, or a general sense of not feeling like themselves. The emotional challenges of this stage of life do not stop at a particular date.

It is not random. Falling oestrogen and progesterone directly affect the brain's threat response. Progesterone in particular has a calming effect on the nervous system, so as levels drop, the brain becomes more reactive. Anxiety appearing from nowhere, even in women who have never experienced it before, is a recognised hormonal symptom. It is not a sign something is seriously wrong, and it does not have to be permanent.

Hormonal fluctuations during perimenopause affect serotonin and dopamine, the chemicals most closely linked to mood. This is why low mood can worsen even in women with no previous history of it, and why antidepressants alone often do not fully resolve it. They address the chemistry but not the psychological patterns that build up alongside it. Addressing both together tends to produce more lasting results.

HRT addresses the hormonal side of menopause and can improve overall wellbeing significantly. But it does not reset anxiety patterns that have already become established in the brain. Once the nervous system has learned to fire those responses, the pattern runs independently of hormone levels. Many women need both HRT and targeted emotional support to address each layer properly, and that is exactly what I work on.

Yes. My programmes do not rely on HRT. Everything I do works independently of whether you are on hormone therapy or not. Many of my clients cannot take HRT or have chosen not to, and they get strong results.

Yes. My programmes work alongside or independently of medication. I do not advise you to stop or change any medication. What I do is address the emotional patterns and nervous system responses that medication alone does not reach. Many women I work with are on antidepressants and find that my approach gives them what medication on its own could not.

That cycle, of feeling better and then slipping back, usually means the pattern is still running underneath. You are managing it rather than resolving it. My approach works to interrupt and reset those patterns at the root, so they do not simply come back when life gets stressful again. That said, this is not a passive process. It takes commitment and active engagement. The women who get lasting results are the ones who show up and do the work.

Because hormonal change affects the brain, not just the body. It can alter mood, memory, confidence, and your sense of identity. Women describe it as losing themselves, and that experience is real. It is not permanent and it is not who you are. Most women I work with find their way back to themselves, often stronger for it.

Yes. Libido changes during menopause are common and often have both a physical and emotional component. I work on the emotional and psychological side, including confidence, body image, and the impact of anxiety on intimacy. We look at what is relevant to you personally and build your programme around that.

Yes. Sessions are virtual and we schedule around your life. You do not need to travel, take time off work, or rearrange your day. All you need is somewhere private and a stable internet connection.

Questions about how the programmes work, what to expect, and which one is right for you.

I offer different programmes depending on what you need most.

The Reclaim Programme focuses on menopause anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, and emotional overwhelm. It is my most comprehensive 1:1 programme for women who are really struggling with the emotional side of menopause.

The Driving Anxiety Programme is a structured protocol specifically for women who have developed fear or avoidance around driving, often triggered by perimenopause or menopause.

The Midlife Reignite Programme is for women who are not in crisis but feel flat, unmotivated, or disconnected from who they were. It focuses on rebuilding energy, confidence, and a sense of direction.

The Menopause Strategy is a one-off in-depth assessment for women who want clarity on their symptoms and a personalised plan before committing to a full programme.

Group coaching and corporate menopause support are also available.

Because it is built around you, not a formula. Most programmes give every client the same structure regardless of their individual triggers, history, or personality. I do not work that way. Your programme is shaped by who you are and how your symptoms actually show up in your life. Two women with the same diagnosis can have completely different experiences. That matters, and my approach reflects it.

Driving anxiety that appears suddenly during perimenopause or menopause is far more common than most women realise, and it is a recognised hormonal symptom. As oestrogen and progesterone decline, the nervous system becomes more sensitive and the brain can begin to misinterpret normal driving sensations as danger. A single anxious experience on the road can be enough to set the pattern in motion. After that the brain starts anticipating danger before you even get in the car. It is not a character flaw, and it is not something you simply have to live with.

Find out more about driving anxiety support

Yes. Driving anxiety is not a permanent condition. I work to reset the brain's threat response and calm the nervous system using a structured protocol, so the brain stops reading driving as danger. For most women the anxiety reduces significantly, and often disappears altogether. Many have regained full confidence on motorways and roads they had been avoiding for months or years, without forcing themselves through exposure or relying on medication.

Most programmes run between four and eight weeks, depending on what we are working on and the results you want to achieve. I set the duration based on your needs, not a fixed schedule.

No. While most issues are resolved within that window, you are welcome to continue working with me for as long as you find it useful. Some clients move on to a different programme once the first is complete. That is entirely up to you.

Everything you need to know before taking the next step.

It is a free 20 to 30 minute call with no obligation. You tell me what you are experiencing and what you have already tried. I ask a few questions to understand your situation properly. At the end, I tell you honestly whether I think I can help and which programme would suit you best. There is no pressure. If it is not the right fit, I will say so.

All sessions are virtual via video call. You do not need to travel anywhere. All you need is a stable internet connection and somewhere private to talk.

Yes. I work with women worldwide and accommodate different time zones. Location is not a barrier.

Programmes start from £150. The investment depends on which programme is right for you and the level of support involved. Pricing is discussed on your discovery call once we understand what you need. Payment can be made in full or in two instalments.

Book a free discovery call. That is the first step and there is no commitment at that stage. We have a conversation, assess your situation, and see if we are a good fit. If we are, we agree a plan and go from there.

Still have a question? Send me a message and I will get back to you.
